but my focus would be **Merging Neuroscience into Religious & Spiritual Energy Flow** I wanted the audience's to feel how energy can be collected and how we can transfer energy to not only our own species but also to other living forms - Trees, animals etc. I have been sketching and designing the installation, hopefully I will be able to show that in the next week's writing. Q: What do you want to show the audience, how would you like them to feel? A: To visually see one's existenceĪ: I think my recent thought on the form for my piece would be an art installation of a plant sprout. Our perception of reality has less to do with what is happening out there, and more to do with whats happening inside our brain. Our experience of reality is the brain's ultimate construction, senses is a show put on for you by your brain, therefore the reality we know and see is only an "Illusion of reality". In the Outside world, taste, sight, smell, rich texture don't exist. The "Actual Reality", something that is not created from our brain, and the utmost visual of the outside world.
Therefore to "sense" other senses from the spectrum, we dont need an evolution of our brain, but to create plug-ins & inputs to be able to "PLUG" into our system to be able to see more.Ī: Other invisibility that I would like to also PLAY with is to show the actual world to audience. Therefore we are trapped in only a thin slice of reality of this world. The slice of reality that we can see is limited by our biology receptors. We are only seeing a slice of reality in this world, the other sensory are flowing but we are not equipped too sense it. Gamma waves, infrared spectrum (to see temperature), wifi, x-rays, radio waves etc. Sensory Augmentation - Extended Sensory inventoryĪ: Plug-in & Play - The Extra Sensory Future - We are born with a standard set of basic senses, other information sources we don't have the sensor and receptors to sense it - ie. Q: What are the invisible that I would like to see? A: in short: Weight of life, the traits in one's life, movements of living traits that the receptors we are born with(Eyes,ears,nose etc.)cant see visually. My title for the project was “Magnifying Senses in theatre through technology” - to see what the invisble, and to touch the intangible. Ive been doing a Q&A Session to review and study my first proposal for the project to revise it.
